Upneeq® (oxymetazoline hydrochloride ophthalmic solution), 0.1% is a prescription eyedrop used to treat low-lying lids (acquired blepharoptosis) in adults.

Upneeq®, an oxymetazoline hydrochloride ophthalmic solution, is an eye drop available by prescription only and is used to treat acquired ptosis or low-lying upper eyelids. Upneeq® works by temporarily causing tiny muscles inside the upper eyelid to contract, visibly lifting the upper eyelids.

When Upneeq® is applied as a once-daily eye drop, the eyelids start to lift in just minutes. Most patients see anywhere from 1-3 millimeters of lift in the position of their upper eyelids. Upneeq’s full effects can be seen in approximately 2 hours and last up to 12 hours.
